Rehearsing with the lights dim makes it easier to dance. Jamming in the living room, loosening up, having a good time and enjoying a little musical experimentation with the rain beating down outside. Candles glowing and insence blowing around the room aided by a small fan trying to keep us cool as the floor throbs gently with the beat.
It made the fish happy. The vibrations must have tickled their gills. They came to the side of the tank afterwards and made kissy faces against the glass.
The PA system stood the test of a little rain, Roger’s neighbours stood the test of Oak. What a great way to spend an evening, even if it leaves no time for cleaning for my mum’s impending visit.
There’s no better high than making music.
